Off Road Club is a family RC car spot on Santa Susana Pass Road in Simi Valley, with tracks for remote control cars and trucks, RC rentals, and a food truck serving homemade Colombian arepas. Tricia and I visited owner Xiome Moreno to see the tracks and try the food.
What is Off Road Club?
Xiome described it as a space created for the whole family. You can bring your own RC car or truck, or rent one there, and run it on a whole array of tracks. It’s a fun place for kids, families, and events like birthday parties.
What are arepas?
Arepas are a Colombian dish, a kind of cornbread you stuff with your choice of fillings like chicken, beef, or veggies. Xiome makes them herself in the food truck, and she told us they’re gluten free. She calls them “stuffed wheels.” I loved them, and honestly, some people may want to come just for the food.
