The Simi Valley Street Fair is a community fair hosted twice a year, in spring and fall, by the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce, with hundreds of local businesses, food, music, nonprofits, and family activities along Simi Town Center Way. I’ve been filming it since 2022, and it’s one of the best ways to discover Simi Valley businesses you didn’t know about.
When is the Simi Valley Street Fair?
There’s a spring fair (usually around early May) and a fall fair (usually in October). Recent fairs have been held on Simi Town Center Way. Dates change every year, so check the Simi Valley Chamber of Commerce for the next one.
What can you find at the street fair?
A little bit of everything. The May 2024 fair was Star Wars themed for May the 4th. Here are some of the booths I visited:
- Food and treats: Sugar Shack Gourmet Apples, Baby Cakes, California Girl Honey, salt water taffy, Rock n Roll Burger, Makenna Koffee’s coffee truck, and Vera’s Cheesecakes.
- Local makers: Olive Candle Co., Cowlifornia Couture leather goods, Art by Tiina, Earth’s Candy Crystals, and Creative Fire Kiln and Kitchen.
- Wellness: Ajna Urban Yoga, foot reflexology and foot zone therapy, and Sweat Haven.
- Community groups: Simi Sunrise Rotary, For the Need, Simi Valley Police Explorer Post 2910, Simi Valley Lacrosse, Simi Valley Aquatics, the Simi Valley Public Library, Eagle Vision Outreach, and the Simi Settlers amateur radio club.
- Entertainment: a magic show by Richard Blake, Ahh Cappella, and in Fall 2023, a flash band mob playing the Little House on the Prairie theme song.
