Looking for tacos in Simi Valley? Two spots I checked out in 2023 are Urban Taco, a taco fusion spot in the Centre Court shopping center on Madera Road, and Tacos 805 on East Los Angeles Avenue. Here’s what I found at each.
Urban Taco
I went to Urban Taco’s grand opening. It serves tacos inspired by urban street food, from classic carne asada to shrimp and pineapple. The guests I talked to raved about the french fries, and one gave it a 10 out of 10.

Tacos 805
Tacos 805 was new in Simi Valley when I visited, and I was impressed. The salsa is the perfect mix of spicy and tangy, the service is quick, and there’s something for everyone, from carne asada to al pastor.
