What is For The Need?

If you’re not familiar with For The Need, you should be. This Simi Valley nonprofit empowers youth who are experiencing homelessness, chronic illness and hardship by providing them with life-changing opportunities through mentorship and education.

Through their signature Bow & Arrow program and various community events, For The Need addresses the rising conflicts of homelessness and how economic problems are detrimental to many families, aiding in the source of the issues families face while providing experiences that can change a life.

Real Impact, Real Lives

Events are themed and inclusive, welcoming children of all ages, creating safe spaces where kids dealing with difficult circumstances can just be kids. Once children feel safe, volunteers can see their shoulders drop from the release of pressure and stress, and they’re so glad to be around people that are there for them.
